We are fully licensed & insured for all works we carry out.

Trades need to hold current and correct licenses for very good reason and being a licensed company means that we are bound by professional standards and rules that keep us from making dangerous errors and taking shortcuts.

Employing an unlicensed builder could cost you time, money or your safety with the cost of repairing any defective work likely to come out of your own pocket. Don’t take the chance.

Living Space Constructions are fully licensed and insured for all works we carry out. Please find below a list of all of these and of course we are able to provide current copies of each of these on request.

Licences and insurances

NSW Builders Licence

Our NSW Builders Licence No. 190017c is held with the NSW Department of Fair Trading and is renewed every 3 years.

Public Liability & Products Liability Insurance

Our current policy with Berkley Insurance Australia Limited is renewed annually and is to the value of $10,000,000.

Workers Compensation

We hold a current Works Compensation Certificate of Currency under the Work Compensation Act 1987 which is renewed anually.

Home Warranty Insurance

Under the Home Building Act 1989, builders contracting for residential building work worth over more than $20,000 must take out Home Warranty Insurance. This gives you peace of mind that if your building work is defective or incomplete, you can lodge an insurance claim to complete or rectify work if the building company is no longer operating. Living Space Constructions hold a current Certificate of Eligibility with iCare which is renewed annually. For each valid residential project we take out a site specific policy as required.
